Capturing the Motion of the Everyday

​Paula’s photography operates with an investigative patience. Most of her images are taken while both she and her subjects are in motion—brief, suspended moments of personality and narrative pulled from the rush of the highway.  ​This theme of the "visible-invisible" is a cornerstone of her work. Paula creates at a different tempo. Her practice is an act of sustained attention, a refusal to let the quiet details of the world vanish into the background.
